This carpool tour explores the most infamous site of the 2,000-plus mile Oregon Trail, where emigrants snubbed ropes to trees and covered wagons were lowered down ruggedly-steep cliffs just above Mount Hood’s Zig Zag Canyon.

The tour will be given during the Mt. Hood Huckleberry Festival day and time TBA

Storytelling by Michael P. Jones adds a special touch to this excursion and brings the past to life.
