Please note that listed above are only some of the festivals and special events in need of volunteers. The Cascade Geographic Society has other volunteer opportunities that could use assistance. These needs range from restoration of the Oregon Trail to the enhancement of fish and wildlife habitats, to assisting with the restoration of the "Portland Underground" (the Shanghai Tunnels), to assisting with the development of living history exhibits, to restoring historic buildings, conducting research, and a whole lot more.

The donation of a few hours could mean a great deal to the Cascade Geographic Society. The jobs needing assistance are many and are diverse. Your talents and expertise might just be a perfect match. Some of this work you can do right at home. If you'd like to find out how you can fit in, please give us a call at (503) 622-4798.
